Proverbs 4:7

I’m sure many of us have heard the term which I’m using for a title, and I bet you never gave it a lot of thought, especially until now since I’m about to talk about it. If you think that statement is meaning what you put into your mouth, then your thinking of this statement needs expanding and that’s just what I’m going to try and do.

To eat will envolve one of our five senses located under the taste category, knowing that, we can say you’re the results what your five senses have taken in and filed, they make you, you, and has a lot to say about who you are and what you’ve become. What you see and what you hear plays a huge part as well in what others see radiating from you.

Again, eating is consuming and we consume with more than our mouths. We consume what we watch, and what we listen to as well. We’re what we surround ourselves with, what we watch on TV or at the movies, or play on the video games machines and the kind of music we listen to, these are the things we eat. These are the things that shape our lives, and these are the things that we emulate and desire. Here’s the money question. If you’re born-again saved, we must ask ourselves would Jesus be doing those things with us and enjoying them, would Jesus eat those things, because if Jesus wouldn’t, neither should we, and don’t try use the cop-out that Jesus is in Heaven and you are on Earth and have the right to poison yourself at times or is it more like most of the time.

Philosophers especially Ayn Rand tell us that existence exists. She speaks of the existence only known by her five senses. Once upon a time man’s five senses told him that the world was flat, but one having faith to think outside of what he could see, hear, taste, smell or touch changed everything. If Jesus lives today, (and He does, but the people who believe the world is flat will not), and you believe that, then you’re admitting to a parallel existence, that there’s an existence you can see and one you can’t. (I’ve touched on this briefly in another post.) For the born-again saved who are living the new birth experience and not rejecting it, the proof of parallel existence is easy because they’ve experienced it. Question, why would one choose to die once exposed to the other Realm or existence rather than change back or cave in under pressure. Answer, because that realm which is not seen actually exist. You can believe the world is still flat if you want to but it’s not. Folks this is not a feeling it’s a happening, it’s happening now, and it’s not for outsiders looking in. It’s a gated community protected by the blood of Jesus. Once given your residents you start unpacking, moving in from one realm to the other too live this parallel existence, and part of this unpacking is that your diet changes, what you eat and consume changes. You’ve become a new creature to live this parallel existence and this new creature doesn’t live by bread alone, (Matthew’s 4:4) it wouldn’t survive in its new neighborhood with only five senses consumption.

When you see Christians who have changed and are looking good, and not spooky they’re consuming the fruit of the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:22, 23), they’re eating differently then you, and it has nothing to do with diet.

Many years ago I asked the Lord. I asked, Lord I need a set of guidelines that help me, not like the law as was with the Ten Commandments but a set of guidelines that exposes the happenings in my life, something that I can grab on to that will hold me strong when I’m overwhelmed, lost, and confused; something that strengthens my faith and keeps me focused. I know that the Word would do this but because you know everything about me from the beginning to the end, can you separate something just for me, something that I can meditate on to build me up every day, something like a personal “Bill of Rights” that will cover everything about me that you know already will happen so that I can overcome it all and while it’s happening stay true to what You give me so I don’t waiver.

In about a week during prayer time this is what happened and it’s AMAZING. The Lord told me during prayer time to get a pencil and paper, write these things down and say them night and day.

I will never leave you or forsake you so you can boldly say that I am your helper. I will take care of all your needs according to My riches and glory, in and by Jesus Christ. I take pleasure in your prosperity and the angels have to hearken to the voice of My word and go Minister My pleasure onto you. Part of My pleasure is your health, for it is written in Isaiah 53:5 and 1st.Peter 2:24 that by My stripes you were healed. It is written in Psalms 118:17 that you will live and not die and be a testament to My word. It is written in Psalms 103:3 that I forgave all your iniquities and healed all your diseases. It is written in Psalms 107:20 that I gave you the Word and it healed you and protects you from all destruction. It is written in Jeremiah 30:17 that I restore your health. It is written in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you shall profit. It is written in Luke 10:19 that I’ve given you the authority to tread over scorpions and serpents.(Satan and his Disciples) It is written in Genesis 1:26,27, and 28, That I’ve given you authority over all things in and of this world. It is written in Psalms 91 that I am your El Shaddai and your Jehovah-Jireh, your healer, your protector, your helper, and your provider. I am your God almighty. It is written in 2nd Corinthians 6:2 that on the day of your salvation I helped you, meaning, That on the day I became Lord and Savior of your life I keep it in control by the work of the Holy Spirit who will guide you in the direction I want you to go, so all you have to do is obey. It is written in 1st John 4:17 that as I am so are you in this world, and there is no sickness nor disease in Me, nor pain or suffering in Me, nor lack, nor secular dependencies, so neither are there in you now or forever more because you are a new creature in Me. It is written in 1st John 4:4 that greater am I who is in you than he who is in the world. It is written in 1st Corinthians 3:16 and 2nd Corinthians 6:16 that you are a living temple of God and it’s written in 1st Corinthians 6:19 that you are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

This is the spoken Word you asked. They are your Rhema, and they will be what you’ll need to live out your life, for they are food to your spirit, life to your soul, and medicine, healing, and health to your body. They will provide strength, courage, confidence, hope, peace, and build up your belief through faith, for it is written in Hebrews 13:6, What can a man do to you or even for you that I can’t do better and greater with faith so you can boldly say that I am your helper.

Also it is written that your riches are in your house,(your spirit) so no matter where you are, no matter where you be, no matter where you live, no matter where you reside, no matter where you dwell, no matter where you’re at, no matter where you journey, and no matter what you journey in, your riches will be there, because your riches is the Glory, and I am the Glory, your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And when you call out to Me and call out to Me in My Name, (Jesus) and believe without doubt, that what you called out to Me for you should have, then you shall receive it. But you are to be patient and not anxious about anything. Be faithful and walk in faith and not by sight. Keep the spirit and call what’s not as if it is. Obey My Word, My Voice, and My Leadership. Don’t doubt and don’t be faint/quit. Trust in Me in all things. First seek Me and the Kingdom. Be thankful, and all will be well with you. And all is well with you because you’ve been washed in the blood of the Lamb, redeemed from the curse of the law, and established in the righteousness of God by faith through Jesus, and by no means shall anything hurt you. For you’ve been given power and authority to tread over serpents and scorpions and no enemy; no weapon formed against you shall prophet. No sickness or disease, no pain or suffering; no person, no place, and no thing, not even the adversary/Satan nor his disciples, absolutely nothing that is a contradiction to My Word that I promised you by the finished works at the Cross shell profit against you, because all things are possible through Me for those who believe.

Be thankful that I’ve gotten you through all the strongholds and shortcomings and shortfalls that come your way that are contradictions to My Word, that come your way through temptation, eagerness, anxiousness, and impulsiveness, self-pity, self-centeredness, self-righteousness, and pride, misunderstanding, non-understanding, disbelief and disobedience, even procrastination and excuses and any and all things that come your way that tries to turn you away from faith and rely on your own self-effort rather than trusting, believing, and resting in Me. But it’s written in 2nd Corinthians 12:9 that My Grace is sufficient and your faith in My Grace is all that you need and it will get you through all the shortcomings, short falls, and strongholds that come your way that are contradictions to My Word. Be thankful for My Grace and the unmerited favor that comes with it as you receive it each and every day and each and every moment as a precious gift from Me.

Confess and remember these Rhema, say them morning and night, they will not come back to me void. Your understanding of their truth and meaning will magnify as you walk the path of life I’ve prepared you for. Have faith and believe, your Lord and Savior,

Jesus.

My life has not been the same since as I practice doing this obedience. Jesus did not lie.

Things we’re down in April and May because my computer went down and I had to purchase another one. Life did not stop, and many things are changing, some things I can control and some things are out of my control but Jesus, need I say more is seeing things through and for the better as always. I hope to post more often.

Our physical world is an exclusive neighborhood where only flesh and blood resides. There’s no other place like it and it exists on a planet called Earth.

God put it here for his pleasure (Revelation 4:11) and trust me, it’s not His only pleasure, but it is and forever will be for His enjoyment.

A segment of God’s physical world (us) for quite a while has gone awry because of an outside interference called Satan who bought the opposing will of God called sin into play, and now because of sin and its deadly nature the battle is on between God and Satan over creation even though God created Satan; his name was Lucifer once upon a time, but all this was bought about because of a couple called Adam and Eve and their choice to be disobedient to God because of doubt.

This couple’s decision of disobedience bought Satan into the mix affecting everything since, so now God is not pleased. What was for His pleasure has now become a throne.

Satan running rampant is injecting more of his influence into the circle then what God ever wanted but not ignorant too; this was no surprise.

Meanwhile God’s pleasure went about things as if they were not influenced by any force, but in reality they which is us are, but lack understanding.

This physical world and all that’s in it is supposed to please God but Satan and his group of followers are causing so much havoc that God destroyed the whole thing once and was leaning toward destroying the whole thing a second time but was convinced by the Trinity (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) not too because some pieces of this physical world can change if given the chance but they need to be able to make a choice and know they have one in spite of Satan because they don’t know, so, the Son, the Word (John 1-4), Jesus said let that choice be Me, send Me and all who receives Me Father, see them as You see Me and give them new birth by replacing their sin nature with our nature as being born again.

God has put a limit on how long He’s going to put up with Satan and his influence now that Jesus has made the sacrifice and there’s a choice, and that choice is to be part of what God wanted when He said it was good in the beginning. (Genese1:31)

This is what’s going on folks, except it or not, we’re all influenced as long as we’re in the physical world by the forces of good and evil, there’s no exception. There’s a spiritual world existing parallel with this physical world and wants to have a say about things but can only do so through us.

Our limited minds don’t see it like that because we feel this physical world is all there is because of the deceptive concept taught concerning the Big Bang theory, and how many believe that actually it’s the center and cause of creation. To the spiritual world, we’re no more than fish in a pond in the scope of all reality that includes eternity, and Scripture says nothing but a vapor of smoke, (James 4:14). But us going up like smoke is not the end for us in God’s plan because of Jesus’ finished works at the cross, and God’s plan will be fulfilled. That plan was His Creation and all its parts existing, and being for His pleasure, dwelling with Him forever and Satan’s not invited. The day for the fix is coming soon, as a matter of fact sooner then you and most think.

So where is the physical world in the scope of things? Well some of it will again be part of the original plan of God which He felt was very good in the beginning when everything was created, (Luke 13:23,24) but the majority will go by the way of Satan and share his fate.

Satan will have success taking the majority of God’s pleasure to Hell with him unless you’re part of the minority blessed to be on that short list, the list that has your name written on it with the blood of Jesus.

We hear often and we’re taught by the Word to be thankful in all we do, do all things in thanksgiving. We’re to thank God for everything and every moment. But have you ever thought being thankful and thanking the Lord is not enough. The Hebrews felt the same way when they left Egypt and got exposed to the law, (The 10 Commandments and more.)

We all at some point have experienced some sort of unmerited favor accompanied with blessings from our Lord, (non-believers call it luck) so we feel being thankful is not enough. We feel it shouldn’t be that easy and simple, we feel we should be doing more. But what can we do for Jesus our Lord and Savior…Nothing. He’s done it all; remember on the cross, “It is finish.” What Jesus has done and does for us we didn’t earn and don’t deserve so there’s nothing left but a simple thank you.

Jesus told us to love God and people as He loves us, (Mark 12:30 and John15:12) and have faith, but sometimes our blessings are so great we feel it’s just not enough…. Here’s where I’ll try to explain.

Here’s what happens when we give thanks. We’re acknowledging who’s over us, the power that brings forth what is good that can’t be explained, He’s called God if you didn’t already know. God blesses us if we give thanks or not, or know it or not because the blessings are a gift from Him, it’s His Grace and they’re not negotiable, but they are ours for the taking if we acknowledge Him or not. God is not obligated to do anything for us, but He is obligated to keep His Word and His Word which is the Holy Bible has us in mind first period, we win, we don’t and can’t lose with Jesus.

Our Lord and Savior needs nothing from us, not even a thank you, but that simple thank you carries a lot of weight and a lot of power. It acknowledges our love and surrender to God and unleashes the supernatural wonders from Heaven and all of its power carrying with it the love of Jesus who is the author of this purpose, (Hebrews 12:2) for those who seek.

Being thankful for things not yet seen releases the power to make them come to pass. Being thankful for things already obtain acknowledges who’s responsible for the provisions. Being thankful is an acknowledgment of our surrender to self. Being thankful acknowledges where our faith lies, where our hope begins, where our confidence, courage and strength exists. Being thankful shows our humbleness. Being thankful let’s our soul and body know who we are, and that’s in Christ who runs the show. Being thankful shows our gratitude that we have a Lord and Savior and his name is Jesus…Get the picture.

Being thankful is huge in the eyes of our Lord, it’s everything and more. It makes Him want to grab you and just love you, love you, and love you which He already does by the way. But being thankful shows it’s not one-sided. So don’t cheapen, dilute, or diminish the power and Jesus’ love by holding back this simple phrase, “Thank you Jesus”. It creates more than meets the eye with what you could ever imagine.

I think everyone has heard the phrase or has used the phrase, “I’m just trying to find myself.” When we use that phrase we fool ourselves pretending the search is on, but in reality all we’re saying is I just want to put myself out there, and while out there I may bump into something good if it crosses my path. Surveys say, if you surround yourself with productive people perhaps it will, but too surround yourself with non-productive people or the counterculture, perhaps it will not. But there’s another variable that most people forget or don’t even acknowledge or consider and that is what God has to say about it. What God has to say about it carries an anointing; sure you say, but how do I know that, and how does it work?

When you’re out there trying to find yourself all kinds of things happen and for reason. You try this, try that, and know you’re good at it and could ace it but you just don’t get the break, you seem to always come close or worse yet, short.

When that happens, YOU’RE chasing YOUR destiny. Some of us are fine with that just getting close stuff because it’s not so bad, it could be worse we say, but for so many of us we ignore that right along side of just getting by there seems to be a something that comes easy, effortless, and you don’t know how or why you’ve got it, you just do and you don’t work at it, it just comes. It’s not work to you at all, because it’s like a part of you and you’re good at it.

Time keeps passing and you’ve been out there trying, but there’s this one thing that never stops being excellent. You can do it all night and all day and never get tired, but that job you work, let me tell you about it, it beets you up or is quite demanding, but it could be worse.

Life goes on and one day Jesus calls and you surrender. No big deal but things begin to happen and you see life with a different set of eyes, you don’t resist because you know it’s good.

To sum it up, if you continue to crave Jesus, how you see everything, even that easy talent you have, takes on a new look. For some reason it gets legs and you feel as if you’re being pushed in that direction. Information rushes at you and your imagination runs wild concerning this talent and what to do with it but you’re doing something else. You take some baby steps in the direction you’re being pushed and you feel fulfillment. It ain’t about money, you can get that, but you can’t get this fulfillment. Soon you began to understand it’s not a coincidence why you’re good at this thing. Your born-again experience is having you realize it’s an anointing and it never was you at all, it’s a gift that’s bigger than you so slowly you start thinking on how to change course because you feel ready to step out in faith.

It’s no longer YOUR destiny, it’s very clear that it’s God’s; you feel it all through your members, but you’re not there yet, you’ve kind of only made the team. You’ve found fulfillment and are thinking about how to clear your plate so you can dive into your anointing and perhaps next, your destiny, the destiny God crowned you with at birth, it’s your time, you’ve found yourself and God through Jesus will do the rest. All you have to do is obedience…Congratulation.

Repetition can make things perfect; doing the same thing over and over again can soon make things flawless if all variables remain the same. We’re told to strive toward perfection: but not so fast. Repetition for perfection has a negative side also so we’ve got to be careful.

Learning something so well that you can do it in your sleep weakens you or can gives you a false sense of confidence. Not to have too concentrate leaves your mind to drift. When you’ve done something for so long that you don’t have to concentrate about it, you weaken what you’re doing perfect or not, because if your mind drifts you become valuable to unrelated thoughts. Things creep into your mind that has a tendency to distract and your repetition for perfection can become flawed even though you’ve the ability to correct it if the case presents itself.

We all can say our A B C’s, and we all can say them while we’re doing something else, but can you say them backward the same way you say them forward, or at all. You’d need total concentration for that task, now my point.

Prayer is the same way. Repetitive prayer saying the same thing the same way opens doors for the adversary/Satan to weaken it by filling your mind with thoughts as you pray that’s not about what you’re praying, drifting, influx of unrelated thoughts, surroundings taunting you, how much power do you think that can produce, very little. Those prayers power needle are in need of a surge.

Total concentration involves every cell in your body and the full power generated when all systems are working perfectly are the desired results, and will have absolute power with nothing diluted.

Think about that the next time you wear your headset while doing your job, and think about it when praying the same song the same way and stuff comes into your head like what are you going to do about this, about that, or about the other thing while into your repetitive prayer. Was it good, was it bad, did it have power, or was it week, or don’t you pray at all but say you do.

If you want to be the wisest and most knowledgeable person in the world read Proverbs and Psalms from the New Century Version Bible by Thomas Nelson.

Understanding comes from God #1, but reading for understanding at your reading level is also most important. The NCV Bible has a reading level that practically anyone with a six grade reading level will comprehend and it’s good reading.

Don’t forget in all you get, get understanding then enjoy the byproduct of the understanding that comes.

In all you get, get understanding, (proverbs 4:7). Crossing into the realm where I actually heard God speak to me was a beautiful thing; I was stunned. What God speakes to me is so profound and life changing that in one encounter He mentioned (Isaiah 30:8) to me and asked would I do it as too not just sit on His Revelations in our prayer time? It reads, now write this on a sign/scroll for the people so in days to come this will be a witness forever.
