It’s Not That Black and White

There are so many people walking around here self-righteous. I’m talking about those who are born-again/saved, as well as those who are not born-again/saved, but say they believe. And I’m talking about anybody else who’ll go around acting holier-than-thou — which is by the way, characterizing oneself as being absolutely correct, and totally convinced they’re morally superior, by nothing more than their own right, whatever that is, humanism is the word.

Come Sunday, many of us scamper to attend church service, when it’s over, and we’re done, we check It off our list as — got that in, and life goes on. Or, we don’t attend church at all but attempt to live a moral life because we believe it’s the right thing to do. Well let me tell you, “It’s Not That Black and White.” I don’t care if you’ve received Christ or not, your life’s habits will not change until you’re baptized into the Spirit, The Spirit called the Holy Ghost.

We’re self-righteous when we mix/compromise our everyday lives to conform with this world, but at the same time not ashamed to answer if asked, do you believe, are you a believer? Carnal is the word. If we’re playing by the world’s rules, mixed with some religion; were fine with that, and that’s the problem. “It’s Not That Black and White.”

God doesn’t regard the world’s way of life at all, or there would not have been a fall of Man. So, how are you living your life?

Do you have white wrongs that make you feel self-righteous over those who have black wrongs? Example: Do you watch movies that swear, rob, murder, and fornicate, but frown upon those that watch porn? One’s white, and one’s black, — depending? Do you smoke cigarettes, cigars, or a pipe if you’re a smoker, but frown on people who smoke pot? One’s white and one’s black. Do you drink alcohol, but frown upon alcoholics that have a tuff time with it? One’s white and one’s black. Do you tithe to a church that help the unfortunate and many more causes, but frown if your tax dollars do? One’s white and one’s black. In that last example, one is considered self-righteous, while the other is robbing the rich to give to the poor.

People, there is no black and white lifestyles. All of us/Saints that conform to the world are wrong, and the reason we can do it and feel self-righteous about it is because there is no conviction. There’s no conviction of the Spirit if the world/masses are in agreement with the way you think; making laws to enhance the imbalanced lust of the lost, so there’s black and white wrongs and lies, which is only thinkable without God.

It’s the Holy Spirit that convicts us – (John 16:8), and – (Galatians 5:17). No Holy Spirit, no convictions, so life goes on with its make believe black and white wrongs; powering self-righteousness.

God says nothing is good in the flesh – (Romans 7:18). So, which one is it? You feeling good about yourself — feeling self-righteous, or receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit that will convict you of ways not of God, so that you can change, so that you’ll renew your mind – (Romans 12:2), so you are changed, because “It’s Not That Black and White.”

Word of note: You can be born again/saved, but have no power. Not the power to be Mighty according to Man, but the power to overcome the world according to God. There’s no change on our own using will power, which is grounded in personal understanding. Something inside of you must work that change.

First, we must receive the Holy Spirit who’ll dwell inside of us as He did Jesus after He was baptized – (Luke 3:22) – (John 1:32) – (Matthew 3:16) – and – (1st Corinthians 6:19).

To receive the Holy Spirit — if saved, skip this first prayer, and say the second; if not, say this prayer first, then the second. If not sure at all, say them both.

Lord, I know I’ve sinned against You because I’m a sinner. I know that you lived, shed Your blood, died, was buried, and rose from the dead because You love me so. I confess my Sin unto You because I believe in You, and believe all You’ve preached to be true. I want to be delivered from all un-righteousness as was promised by Your sacrifice on the Cross. I want You to come into my life, my heart, my mind, soul, and my spirit, to be my Lord and Savior. I ask this of You Precious Lord – in Your most Holy, Sacred, and Blessed Name – Jesus. Amen. Or:

Heavenly Father, I ask that the Holy Spirit Come dwell inside of my total being. Baptize me with the fire, and with the Power that guides me in the ways of my Lord and Savior Jesus — Father God; with the ability to speak in the language of the Spirit/tongues, in Jesus’ Name, amen.
